Established in 1989, Secured by Design (SBD) is the title for a group of national police projects focusing on the design and security for new & refurbished homes, commercial premises and car parks as well as the acknowledgement of quality security products such as garage doors. It supports the principles of ‘designing out crime’ through physical security and processes.

ThermaRoll 77 has a strengthened to achieve the Secured by Design standard. Security and opening at the touch of a button - perfect!

ThermaRoll 77 garage doors must be installed with 90mm guides and fitted behind the garage opening to meet SBD accreditation and is available on doors up to up to 4420mm (14’6”) wide x 2438mm (8”) high. Doors with windows, manually operated doors or doors fitted between the opening are excluded from Secured by Design certification.
